Dear Publishers: CWA Daggers Awards Deadline

Just in case you’re all a bit busy making/receiving proposals of marriage tomorrow, here’s a reminder that 29 Feb is also the deadline for submitting for the CWA’s 2012 Daggers.  From rule 1:

The final deadline for submitting a novel is February 29, 2012. All online forms must be completed, and processing fees paid, by this date. Publishers then have a further week until March 7, 2012 to deliver the books to the judges. This is to prevent a backlog of titles arriving in the final weeks.

This applies to the Gold, Ian Fleming Steel, John Creasey (New Blood), International, Non-Fiction and Short Story Daggers.

And you know, if they really, really love you, they’ll wait until March 1st while you finalise your entries tomorrow.  Cheers!
