It's a crime! (Or a mystery…)

#fridayreads – 2012’s Crime in the Court from Goldsboro Books

Massively successful last year – honestly, I can’t find the right level of superlative here – Goldsboro Books returns with a second Crime in the Court event this year on July 3, 18:30 to 21:30.  Described by Mike Ripley in his recent Shots Mag Column (Getting Away with Murder) as ‘…one of the best street parties I have been to…’, tickets remain at £5 this year and can be booked herePlease read this page for further information on signings.

At the time of writing, authors confirmed as attending include Ben Aaronovitch, Tom Benn, Mark Billingham, Alison Bruce, Will Carver, Kimberley Chambers, Rory Clements, Lindsey Davis, Steven Dunne, Mark Edwards, Gordon Ferris, Mari Hannah, Sophie Hannah, Matt Hilton, Christobel Kent, Erin Kelly, Ali Knight, Adrian Magson, Alex Marwood, Claire McGowan, Barbara Nadel, S J Parris, Christopher Radman, Kate Rhodes, Michael Ridpath, Stav Sherez, Simon Toyne, L C Tyler, Tim Weaver & Laura Wilson.  As you can see from the pic, it was a pretty crowded Cecil Court for last year’s crime celebration, so expect more names to be added to that list by the date.

Toby, the acclaimed winner of the honour ‘Topmost Shop-Dog Ever’, may well be in attendance again this year so don’t forget to call in Fortnum’s en route to purchase some quality treats for him.  Crime authors need no treats, of course; they just like to chat while taking lubrication from the grape.  Get your tickets now and see you there to enjoy another fabulous evening of crimefickery!
