Philip Madoc – a tribute to a great actor, with a great voice

Sadly, the BBC reported earlier today of the death of Welsh actor Philip Madoc.  Many will always remember him for his portrayal of David Lloyd George.  Once heard, the man’s voice was unforgettable. The BBC pays tribute to his career in pictures.  Here is a selection of his work.

    That is so sad. He had such an amazing voice. I’ve been in love with him for as long as I can remember.

    And ‘don’t tell him Pike’ still brings a smile to my face.

    Philip Madoc, sorely missed.
