It's a crime! (Or a mystery…)

Jasper Rees’s Bred of Heaven reviewed in the Daily Mail – Another Angle

This is a book I look forward to reading in the near future.  In it, Jasper Rees, who is English but with some Welsh ancestry, sets out to discover his Welsh side, to pursue his goal of becoming a Welshman.  A review of Bred of Heaven appeared in the Daily Mail today and caused a little consternation on a Welsh blog because of the anti-Welsh stance perceived in the review.  One tweeter, @Marshallmedia, has said he has made his first complaint to the Press Complaints Commission as a result.  But did anyone notice this?  Was the page changed at some point or was someone having a laugh/an attack of the ‘snides’ when setting it up?  For it is based on the words ‘Exploited, raped, controlled and punished by the English’.  The evidence follows m’lord.
